Synopsis: Doug was a keynote speaker at the 8th Asia-Pacific ADR Conference in Seoul organised by KCAB International.

The conference was on the topic of ‘Ensuring Legitimacy, Delivering Efficiency: Procedural Trends and Potential Reforms in Dispute Resolution’.

Doug delivered a keynote speech titled ‘A new path forward: Efficiency through transparency’, on the correlation between increased transparency and efficiency in international commercial arbitration.

Event: Dublin International Arbitration Day: Conference "The Secret to Arbitration's Success in International Commercial Disputes"

Event: VIRTUAL: GAR live construction disputes

Date: July 9, 2020

Synopsis: As a part of the virtual Paris Arbitration Week, Doug was the keynote speaker at the GAR Live Construction Disputes conference.

He delivered a keynote speech titled "Let’s Get Together: Quo Vadis International Construction Arbitration?" where six aspects of the dispute resolution process were analyzed to demonstrate how to establish successful proceedings from inception to completion.
